” It started as a hobby; at 11 years old I was building my first computer programs. Starting in high-level languages such as Basic and HTML, I quickly grew curious about how machines took these very verbose high-level text files or projects and converted them into 1’s and 0’s. Throughout my days as a teenager, I naturally picked up and explored other languages, but still the questions remained about how these commands make a system do anything at all. Eventually these questions were answered as discussions with fellow developers and instructors progressed. My engineering skills developed and I began creating systems in my code. I still find the magic of computing wonderful, and my curiousity peaked with the emergence of new technology such as AI and robotics. I am ready for anything this new world we find ourselves in has to offer. “
